HSP wins a 2010 Davey award
for their work with the Boy Scouts of America

HSP was recently honored with a 2010 Davey Award for a brochure we designed and wrote for the Boys Scouts of America. This is icing on the cake because we love doing work that helps the community and, to be honest, we love getting awards.

The Davey Awards exclusively honor the “Davids” of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock - the sort of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets. The Davey Awards is the leading awards competition specifically for smaller firms, where firms compete with their peers to win the recognition they deserve. Please visit www.daveyawards.com for more information.

“We are grateful to receive this award from the IAVA and are so excited we had the opportunity to create something for an organization as wonderful as the Boy Scouts,” says Debbi Shapiro, Founder & CEO of Henderson Shapiro.

HSP rebrands. A fresh color palette leads the way
for a brand with lots of flexibility.

When it came time to rebrand ourselves, we needed a solution that was bold and simple to portray us as both strategic and creative. This new brand gives us the flexibility we need.

The personality: Fresh, bold, smart and fun.

The logo: The simple “eyebrow” over the type represents a connection or a relationship. It also stands for collaboration and togetherness.

The color palette: A brand defined by four lively, fresh colors not just one. To represent the variety of people, talents, personalities and all the things we do, it is impossible to label us with just one color.

The name: Partner, Jill Peck now has her name on the door as we go from Henderson Shapiro to Henderson Shapiro Peck.
