HSP helps Habitat for Humanity with some serious hammer swinging
Several HSP Employees gave up a Saturday recently to help give back to the community - something we like to do a lot around here - and helped build a house for Habitat for Humanity. Vicki Wahl (Creative), Andy Brininstool (Creative), Claudia Mejerle (Account), Sarah Roche (Account) and Kaylin Perkins (Account), as well as friends/family, dusted off their hard hats and tool belts and got to work building a house. 7 hours later, insulation was installed, a roof was constructed, blisters were formed, and the new proud owner was busting with joy.
Habitat for Humanity is a faith-based organization that builds homes with community members who can't afford to buy homes on the standard housing market. Habitat provides the home at cost, and provides interest free financing.
